Our answer? Yes. It absolutely is. Not only are there tons of unique date night ideas in Orlando to get the romance going, but there are plenty of romantic Orlando restaurants and even unique romantic things to do just for couples in the city.
With all these amenities, Orlando earns our check mark for romantic. With that cleared, let’s talk about the most romantic places in Orlando you can visit.
1. The Rose Display at Leu Gardens
Leu Gardens makes just about every one of our Orlando date lists because it’s amazing. Today, though, we’re talking specifically about one area of the property that is ultra romantic. We’re talking about the Rose Display, or Rose Gardens.
You’ll find beautiful rows of roses that surround a covered patio (describing it that way doesn’t do it justice) that is just out of this world romantic. During the special events at the gardens, you can often find musical acts playing relaxing and romantic (or holiday) music right next to these rose gardens. There are benches and seats, and plenty to look at here to set the romantic mood.
2. Under the Moss-Draped Trees of Kraft Azalea Park
Kraft Azalea Park actually tends to be one of the most popular places to propose in Orlando, mainly because of how romantic it is. Located in Winter Park, this city park is worth stopping by for a walk, a picnic, or just to stand there and take it all in.
If you go during engagement season, the chances are high you’ll probably see a proposal or two while you’re there!

3. The Swan Boats at Lake Eola
Another location that tends to make a lot of our Orlando lists (for date night and romance) is Lake Eola. Specifically, though, the place we’re talking about today is out on the lake in a swan boat.
If you didn’t know, you can rent these boats right on the edge of the lake for a few bucks. They are incredibly romantic and also a lot of fun to get out and experience the sites from a new vantage point.
Do keep in mind that if it’s hot or even remotely warm out, you are going to sweat. If that messes with the romantic vibes for you, maybe skip it. But if it’s nice out and you don’t try and paddle across the whole lake, you’ll be just fine.
4. Olmstead Gardens at Bok Tower Gardens
Another beautiful (and romantic) gardens option in Orlando is the Olmstead Gardens at Bok Tower Gardens. Specifically, this is a section of the gardens that is filled with beautiful flowers featuring (when in season) magnolias, azaleas, and camellias. The gardens are also home to 126 different species of birds, so if you’re feeling like love birds, it feels like a good fit.
There are also some nice nature trails here, a really cool tower you can tour, and an outdoor kitchen area.
5. Private Boat Tour in Winter Park
There’s a really neat (and romantic) scenic boat tour in Winter Park that runs through the canals and shows you the sites of the city. Full transparency, the company’s website looks straight out of 1995, but we assure you people love this tour.
Now, the tour typically is done with several other random people to fill up the boat, which can still be romantic. If you are looking to really make this a romantic place for just the two of you, though, you can always get a private tour to accomplish that (three people if you count the captain of the boat).
6. Inside the Orlando Eye at Icon Park
Technically, this could be considered a romantic date in Orlando, but it’s also a romantic place. We’re talking about inside the Orlando Eye at Icon Park. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s basically a big giant Ferriss wheel you can ride together to see the sights of the city.
For extra romance, we recommend doing it at sunset or after dark. It’s a 20 minute ride on a 400 ft wheel that is definitely memorable and definitely romantic. They do also offer a special ride that goes for two loops (40 minutes) and also includes a free drink and the digital photo pass to commemorate the memory.
7. Don’t hate on us, but Disney World by the Castle
Okay, we do our best to make our lists of date ideas and romantic things and romantic places in Orlando without mentioning the theme parks as we know it’s a lot of locals who read our lists. However, sometimes we have to mention a place (or two) because it really is romantic.
Today, we’re talking about Cinderella’s Castle. There’s just something romantic about a storybook castle that makes it a must-have on our list of romantic places in Orlando for couples.
It’s a great spot to take a picture, propose, or connect. Again, keep in mind that it tends to get less romantic the more crowded or hot it gets.
8. (We can’t help ourselves) Disney’s Boardwalk
Yup, we did it again, but this is a good one. Disney’s Boardwalk has this old world feel that is just perfectly romantic for a stroll or grabbing a bite to eat. You can rent tandem bikes, walk around the property and take in the sights, or even jump on the Skyliner and ride (for free). The Boardwalk Hotel is also neat to walk around in and check out (and the AC is incredible in there).
The one drawback here is that you have to have a dining reservation somewhere at the Boardwalk in order to be able to park. So, either take an Uber there, or plan on eating if you want to take advantage of this romantic spot in Orlando for couples.
